Standard ENFR EN FRLive Working - Conductive Clothing for Use at Nominal Voltage up to 800 kV a.c. and +/- 600 kV d.c
Also Known As:
The IEC 60895:2002 standard specifies requirements for conductive clothing used by skilled individuals during live working at high voltages. The standard applies to various types of conductive clothing, including jackets, trousers, coveralls, gloves or mitts, hoods, shoes, overshoe socks, and regular socks.
This edition of the standard includes several changes compared to the previous version. One significant change is the extension of the scope to cover the use of conductive clothing at up to ±600 kV d.c. Additionally, the requirements for the electrical resistance of the fabrics used in conductive clothing have been revised. The testing procedures for complete clothing have also been updated.
It's important to note that the standard incorporates the contents of a corrigendum from February 2003, which means any necessary corrections or revisions have already been included in this version of the standard.
