IEC 60669-1:1998+AMD1:1999+AMD2:2006 CSV is a standard that specifies the general requirements for manually operated switches used in household and similar fixed electrical installations. It applies to switches designed for alternating current (a.c.) only, with a rated voltage not exceeding 440 V and a rated current not exceeding 63 A.

This standard emphasizes safety and functionality, ensuring that the switches are reliable and suitable for use in various indoor and outdoor environments.
