Acceptability of Printed Boards
Also Known As:
The IPC A-600K:2020 standard is a comprehensive guide that provides industry consensus information on the acceptability of bare printed boards. This four-color document includes photographs and illustrations that depict the target, acceptable, and nonconforming conditions of printed boards, both internally and externally observable.
The latest revision, K, features 120 new or revised photographs and illustrations, covering various topics such as microvia contact dimensions, plating, voiding and fill, dielectric removal, plating folds, surface plating for edge connectors, SMT and BGA pads, marking, hole registration, delamination, cap plating, via fill, and flexible circuits.
The standard complements the acceptability requirements expressed in IPC-6012D and IPC-6013C, ensuring that operators, inspectors, and engineers have the most current and accurate information regarding printed board acceptability. IPC A-600K:2020 supersedes the previous version, IPC-A-600J.
